Computer security is the set of means, technologies and procedures aimed at protecting computer systems in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT assets.Information security involves technical, organizational, legal and human elements. To assess security it is usually necessary to identify threats, vulnerabilities and risks associated with information assets, in order to protect them from possible attacks (internal or external) that could cause direct or indirect damage with an impact exceeding a certain threshold of tolerability (e.g. economic, political-social, reputational, etc.) to an organization. In addition to the three fundamental properties (availability, confidentiality, integrity) the following can also be considered: authenticity, non-repudiation, responsibility, reliability. 

Cyber ​​security is a very sensitive issue in the economic-IT field due to the growing computerization of society and services (public and private) in terms of IT systems and equipment and the parallel spread and specialization of attackers. The interest in the security of IT systems has therefore grown in recent years, proportionally to their spread and the role they play in the community.
